Top 10 Canadian Trade Shows

If you’re looking to broaden your exhibiting exposure in Canada, we’ve assembled a top 10 list of shows that are worth your effort. Selecting which shows to exhibit at can be one of the most challenging decisions when planning your events.

To help with this challenge, we’ve assembled a list of the top 10 established trade shows in Canada according to TSNN. Their top 50 Canadian trade shows in 2014 is a great reference that can help you determine which shows are worth your investment, time, and have the potential of yielding optimal ROI. Although the list represents the top 50 shows of 2014, many of these shows are held annually so you can watch for them in 2015 and 2016!

#1 Canada’s Farm Progress Show – Evraz Place, Regina, Saskatchewan
An agricultural industry trade show, this international show focuses on dryland farming practices. Canada’s Farm Progress Show is held annually.

#2 Global Petroleum Show (GPS) – Stampede Park, Calgary, Alberta
One of the largest energy exhibitions in the industry, GPS is a powerful platform that brings together individuals from 20,000 companies and from over 100 countries. Held annually, GPS offers governments, national and independent oil companies, and local organizations opportunities to build relationships, source new markets, and network within the international energy community. GPS is held annually.

#3 Toronto Gift Fair (Spring) – The International Centre & Toronto Congress Centre, Toronto
This event is Canada’s largest temporary trade gift show. The Toronto Gift Fair provides gift retailers with a unique and professional buying experience with over 1,800 exhibitors each year. This event is held annually, both in January and in August.

#4 The Canadian Home Furnishings Market (TCHFM) – The International Center, Toronto

#6 Agri-Trade Farm Equipment Expo – Red Deer, Alberta
This is Western Canada’s best showcase of equipment and technology in the Agriculture industry. Held annually, the event attracts high-quality buyers from across Alberta and Saskatchewan. Agri-Trade has a very loyal exhibitor base, with a majority of exhibitors returning for over 25 years.

#7 Canadian Western Agribition (CWA) – Evraz Place, Regina, Saskatchewan

#8 PPPC National Convention and Trade Show – Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto

Influential buyers and decision-makers of the design, construction and real estate industries attend this annual event.

#10 Truck World 2014 – The International Centre, Toronto
